Chicago Leather Club is pleased to announce a new addition to the CLC website - the Chicago Leather History Timeline. "The purpose of this timeline (as a subset of the Leather History Timeline found at the Leather Archives & Museum) was to focus on the history of leather within Chicago, and research/include as many sub-communities to be found within. 2009 has been a tough year! Come join us Sunday, January 10th from 3pm to 7pm for a potluck dinner as Chicago Leather Club celebrates another full year and all of us making it through these really tough times. We will be presenting our two newest full members as well as the new slate of officers serving CLC in 2010. We'll also be having a "Hard Luck" (white elephant or dollar store) gift exchange. In November 2009, Chicago Leather Club donated $200 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation [http://www.toysfortots.org]. In past years, CLC members have participated in the Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade. This year, we continue the tradition of giving back by giving directly to the Foundation to provide toys to help the Marines stand behind their "Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas" pledge.
